TOP50 Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 11 December 2024

By submitting your firm for listing on TOP50, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy:

1. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information for your firm.
  • Avoid submitting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
  • Review any prelisted information and notify TOP50 if corrections are needed.

2. Platform Rights

  • TOP50 may modify, suspend, or terminate listings at its discretion.
  • TOP50 is not responsible for any losses resulting from suspension or termination.
  • Some firms may appear using publicly available information; firms may request updates or removal.

3. Free Listing & Visibility

  • Your firm will receive a free trial listing on TOP50.
  • During the trial period, your firm is visible to clients.

Note for Prelisted Firms:
Some firms may already appear on TOP50 based on publicly available business information (directories, websites, or credible sources). Submitting your listing confirms the information and allows you to manage or update your profile.

4. Listing Continuation & Payment

  • After the free trial, listings must be renewed with payment to maintain visibility.
  • Listings not renewed may be temporarily blocked until payment is received.
  • Failure to pay within the specified timeframe may result in permanent termination of the listing.
  • Paid listings are non-refundable.

5. Permanent Termination

Listings may be permanently terminated if:

  1. The free listing or trial period expires and the firm does not complete renewal or payment within the specified timeframe.
  2. The firm violates TOP50’s Terms & Conditions or submits fraudulent or misleading information.

Permanent termination removes the firm from TOP50 and associated networks. Reapplication may not be allowed, depending on the circumstances.

6. Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

  • Contact Information: Name, email, phone, and company details.
  • Company Information: Details submitted for listings or rankings.
  • Publicly Available Data: Information from credible online directories, company websites, social media, or publications.
  • Analytics Data: Non-personal data (browser type, pages visited, device type) via cookies and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

  • Evaluate and publish firm listings.
  • Communicate about your listing or inquiries.
  • Improve website performance and content.
  • Send updates (if opted in).
  • Conduct research and audits to ensure ranking quality.

Use of Public Information

Some firms may be listed using publicly available information. Requests for updates or removal can be sent to office@topfifty.org.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. Limited sharing with trusted partners may occur under strict confidentiality agreements.

Cookies & Tracking

Cookies and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) may be used to improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting office@topfifty.org.

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or misuse.

7. Limitation of Liability

TOP50 is not liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of the platform or listings.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will first attempt mediation.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of Malaysia and resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions

TOP50 may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users should review them regularly.
